Students have the option of completing this two-year diploma program with a Cooperative Education major. These students complete the same courses as regular diploma students through the fall and summer terms. From January to April, Cooperative Education students receive direct work experience giving them a definite advantage in the workforce.

The integration of academics with work experience maximizes skill building for students.

The Cooperative Education major diploma has one start date in September each year and can only be taken on a full-time basis. This is a challenging program, as students must commit to full-time, continuous study for a full two years.

Students in the Cooperative Education major can make valuable industry contacts through their work placement experiences. Building networks is critical. Not only can contacts lead to a new job, but they can provide advice, help you find information or listen to new ideas.
