The Management Studies program offers you the flexibility you need to fit post-secondary business education into your busy life. You can study part-time or full-time. You can start classes many times throughout the year, and flexible course scheduling lets you learn when you want: days, evenings, online or compressed weeks. If you're in a hurry, our fast track study option lets you work harder and finish sooner.

With MacEwan's Management Studies diploma you'll learn business fundamentals like marketing, sales, accounting, business communication skills, finance, human resources and business software applications.

All day-time Management Studies students are required to carry a computer notebook for most classes as this program is part of MacEwan's Technology Integrated Program (TIP) utilizing state-of-the-art learning tools.

Evening and Online Students are not required to have a notebook computer at this time.

Diploma graduates of the Management Studies program are halfway to earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree! Those finishing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher can receive up to 60 credits of advanced standing in the Management major of MacEwan's Bachelor of Commerce degree program. Check with a program advisor about block transferring your credits and earning a degree in two years!

In addition to the Management Studies Certificate (30 credits) or Diploma (60 credits), you can also pursue a specialization in one of the following:
