Managing by Values - beyond Cultures and Generations May 3 - 4, 2010 MacEwan School of Business, Edmonton, Canada
We invite contributions from academics, educators and trainers, and business professionals. We request proposals that explore current topics in management education and the role of values in management training and development. Research in all stages (dissertation proposals, research in progress, and completed research) is welcome. We also welcome papers and contributions presenting case studies and reflections from firsthand experience. Reflections and studies of scholarship in teaching management or training managers are welcome. Contributions can be in one of three formats. - Paper submissions for one of the 'open track' paper sessions.
- Proposals for workshops that offer an integrated approach to a topic of interest in management education and training.
- Innovative sessions that address a topic of interest in management education.

Abstract Preparation1. Abstracts are authored and co-authored
2. Abstracts are in either English or French
3. Abstracts are submitted as Microsoft Word documents, maximum 600 words, and formatted as follows: Single spaced Times New Roman, size 12 font 1 inch top, bottom, left and right margins
4. The first page is a title page and includes the following: - Title - Bold, centered, and not capitalized (except for words that are always capitalized)
- Authors - First name is followed by initials and last name; academic degrees/titles are omitted; authors belonging to the same institutions are grouped together
- Institutions - Names, cities, states/provinces/countries
5. The second page includes the following: - Title only; authors are already specified on the first/title page
- Abstract text
- For in text citation and references, please use APA style guide
Abstract SubmissionPlease submit an extended abstract for blind peer review to Attn: Sara Caetano at caetanos@macewan.ca. Authors of accepted papers will be notified and invited to submit a full paper for inclusion in the conference proceedings.
